Azinhal is a village and a community (about 520 inhabitants) in the county of Castro Marim.
Coordinates: 37° 17′ N, 7° 28′ W
The village is located by the N122, roughly 5 km north of the county town and 2 km west of the Rio Guadiana.
Locality and community were a prehistoric area of settlement. Today life here is calm and peaceful.
Igreja Matriz de Azinhal
The church was mentioned for the first time in 1565. At the end of the 20th century the church has been renovated.
