Rogil is a community and a small town (around 1,100 inhabitants) in the county of Aljezur.
Coordinates: 37° 22′ N, 8° 48′ W
The small town is crossed by the N120 (Aljezur – Odeceixe). The two beaches Praia de Vale dos Homens and Praia da Carreagem belong to the community.
Rogil has shops, banks, a post office, restaurants, bistros and cafés.
The town and its surrounding are very appropriate for hiking, birdwatching and diverse leisure opportunities at the near Atlantic.
As in every Portuguese village, there is a beautiful outdoor meeting point for the young and the old.
