The N-125 is the artery in the Algarve. It starts at Vila Real de Santo Antonio and goes north along the coast to Vila do Bispo. Until the beginning of the 21st century, this road was one of the most dangerous routes in the world. Even if it is calmer today, it should be used with caution and in compliance with the rules. Particular attention is paid to wagons drawn by animals, herds of horses and dimly lit vehicles.
